Arrival in the afternoon. Check-in at the hotel and welcome cocktail. 2 DAY ASCOLI PICENO / OFFIDA
Breakfast at hotel. Morning guided sightseeing of Ascoli Piceno: a path in the historic city centre to discover the most characteristic historical monuments, with stops along the route for tasting famous Ascoli olives (olives in local shops. Free lunch. Afternoon transfer to Offida and sightseeing of the city. Return to Ascoli with a stop along the way at an oil mill with a visit to the company and oil tasting. Free dinner and overnight.
3 DAY ASCOLI PICENO / SIBILLINI MOUNTAINS
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for an excursion to the National Park of Sibillini Mountains: stop at a farmhouse to watch truffle picking and preparation of a lunch based on truffles. Lunch at the farmhouse. Then transfer to Montefortino and visit the Sanctuary of Madonna dell’ Ambro and the town. Stop in local shops with the possibility of buying typical products of the Sibillini Mountains. Return to Ascoli Piceno with a stop and visit to Castel Trosino. Free dinner and overnight.
4 DAY CASTIGNANO/ MORESCO/ FERMO
Breakfast at hotel. Departure towards Castignano with a first stop in the village of Ripaberarda. Arrival and guided sightseeing of Castignano, an ancient medieval village that still preserves the medioeval structure in the houses, walls and churches, where there are signs of the presence of the Templars. Castignano is the place of growing and processing of green anise, a plant known since ancient times for its therapeutic and aromatic properties. In Castignano, in 1870 Silvio Meletti started from the local tradition of anise distillation (an activity widespread in local families) and improved it, creating the recipe for Meletti anisette. Visit to a laboratory for the processing and distillation of green anise. Transfer to Moresco, and visit of the ancient village. Stop at a winery with wine tasting. Free lunch. Afternoon guided sightseein of Fermo: the Roman cisterns, the historic center. Return to Ascoli Piceno. Free dinner and overnight.
5 DAY RIPATRANSONE/GROTTAMMARE/SAN BENEDETTO DEL TRONTO
Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing of Ripatransone, a medieval village in a panoramic position, whose origin is testified by the still well-preserved walls and the numerous palaces, and wellknown for the narrowest alley in Italy, a lane only 43 cm wide! At the end visit of Grottammare, placed in the heart of Riviera delle Palme and shared between an ancient medieval village, located on the hill and characterized by religious and civil buildings built between the Middle Ages and the 1600s, and a seaside town, which surprises for the green of the pine forests and palm trees, the scents of oleanders and orange groves, the Art Nouveau villas and the beaches of fine sand, equipped with numerous bathing establishments. At the end, transfer to San Benedetto del Tronto and lunch based on the typical “brodetto” , a fish meal of the area. Afternoon visit and relax in San Benedetto del Tronto. Return to Ascoli Piceno. Free dinner and overnight.
6 DAY ASCOLI PICENO
