Yet perhaps few know that another woman has linked her life and actions to the Rocca di Gradara: we are talking about the Duchess Vittoria Farnese, wife of Duke Guidubaldo II Montefeltro della Rovere, an extremely brilliant, intelligent woman, with political and diplomatic skills which allowed her to obtain from her husband the direct government of the Rocca di Gradara in 1550, starting a work of reform and modernization of statutes and administration, and bringing great economic impetus to the entire Rocca with the dvelopment of new activities

The Duchess Vittoria Farnese awaits you on 22 October a.D. 1568 in the Capuchin Convent built by her own will, for a dinner where she will be forced to show all her diplomatic and political skills between feelings, conventions and rules, with escapes, intrigues and twists that risk to threaten the serene conviviality of the evening
